Our family and friends decided to surprise us with a huge leaving Scotland, good luck for the wedding surprise party. Completely over the moon with joy.
So many folks showed up!
I love the Scottish spirit. We had traditional Scottish music then after a dj playing latest hits.
Scottish music is pretty cool, lots of hopping about and twirling. I kind of get pulled from every angle but its loads of fun. Going to miss it so much.
Not as much as I'm going to miss the friends that I have made here. Johnny, is one of my many joys. I have moved and traveled quite a bit and know that sometimes it's difficult to maintain friendships. I don't think that will be the case with us, I really hope he comes down to Rio and spends some time with us. I'm sure he will. :)
I wrote this the next day as a facebook post:
"Still taking it all in" is what I kept telling everyone last night at our surprise pre-wedding celebration, those same words are what I feel today. We are very thankful towards everything, everyone and all the efforts that was made for a wonderful night. All the smiles and shared laughter will be remembered with great joy, from the beginning of the night till the end, Brent generated a glow that was shinning brighter and brighter. I've never seen him so happy. The speeches were touching and amazing packed with laughter and joy. I'm still taking it all in... But one thing is for certain. I'm so thankful to soon be (officially) part of such an amazing family. Bring on Mrs. and Mr.Proctor! We have just cracked the door into the new chapter in our lives and the future looks amazing. Thank you all for being there with us! We are very blessed.
